A Cozy Room

We spend most of our evenings in one of the only naturally warm rooms in the house: the Living Room. Most of the other rooms, including my room and the kitchen, are FREEZING cold unless you have the heater on for about 15 minutes. Brrrrrrr.

The living room is also where our mom home schools us. We also have dinner there on Fridays. It has many couches which makes it very cozy and being stacked with books makes it even more cozy. – Grace🇬🇧

  1. Hello from Colorado (and Jonathan, Katie, and Anna), Grace! What an awesome entry into your blog! You really describe the chilly feel of some of the rooms in your new temporary home well! We have the same problem here; the basement, where our kids sometimes like to hang out, is really, really cold but the kitchen, where Katie and Anna like to do their homework and projects, is nice and toasty. Colorado is a little like Minnesota or Oxford, I guess!

Our kids have to go meet their carpool to school, so I should go. We’re thinking about all of you and LOVE that you’re keeping family and friends up to date with your blogs! Anna says a special hello, and says she loved hanging out with you at Estes Park after Christmas. She’d love to hear any funny or fun things British people say to you…I guess she’s interested in their accents!

A load of love from all of us. Tell your family hello, and stay warm!

    Love,
    Uncle Bruce and Aunt Pam

  2. It looks like a very cozy school room! Kendall, Denise and Larry’s granddaughter is having home school too now, because she broke her leg roller skating. She fell and a large man fell on top of her!!! Lucky she has a Grandmother teacher!!
I think it’s cold everywhere! My kitchen is only up to 67 today and the rest of the house is colder than that! Outside it is 18 degrees F.
